Vintage Porto red wine at Croft Port

croft vintage port 2007

Red Vintage Porto 2007 is a blend of wines from the Quinta da Roeda (Douro Valley, Portugal). The hot and dry months of September 2007 offer perfectly ripe berries, with a significant contribution in preserving sugar good natural acidity. Porto has been recognized by the vintage house Croft, a fact that concerns only three vintages on average every 10 years.
High two years in large oak barrels, this wine shows a robe of deep purple with red highlights, with powerful aromas and round, and exotic notes of eucalyptus. The 2007 vintage will continue to evolve for 15 to 20 years in bottle before being eaten with strong cheeses like Stilton or a Parmesan or walnuts and hazelnuts.
